Q. Are the dolls girls or boys?
A. You get to decide. The adoptive parent decides whether their baby is a boy or a
girl. Naming the baby sometimes helps.
Q. Do the babies make sounds?
A. Our newborns don't make sounds. They are special because they look and feel
like real babies. Their cuddly soft bodies feel as though
you are snuggling with a real baby.
Q. What is the age recommendation for these dolls?
A. Dolls from the Nursery are recommended for age three and UP.
Our new mom's have ranged in age from 10 months to 90+ years.
Children aren't the only ones who love our babies. Moms, Grandmas and
Grandpas have also joined in the adoption fun!
Q. Can I buy a Newborn Nursery baby as a gift for someone else?
A. Yes you can. You can visit our Adoption Center Nursery, purchase a baby and
experience the thrill of the " adoption experience" at that time or return later for the
"adoption experience". Or you can leave the baby in child care (layaway).
Q. How much do the dolls weigh?
A. Approximately 4 pounds.
Q. What size clothes fit these babies?
A. Our babies wear baby clothing sized 0-3 months. However real baby outfits may
be a bit baggy in the arms, legs, and necks. Newborn Nursery accessory clothes
are specially designed for our Newborns, and will fit the babies perfectly.
Q. What is the "Adoption Experience"?
A. When you visit our Adoption Center Nursery, it's just like visiting a hospital
nursery. You can look through the window and see 20 different babies in their
isolates. You can hear background sounds of real babies cooing and laughing. The
Nurse will bring the babies closer to the window so that you can get a closer look.
If you decide that you want to adopt, the Nurse will provide an adoption application
for the potential new Mom to fill out. After review by the Nurse, a big red "Stamp Of
Approval" lets you know that you can put on a scrub smock and then Enter The
Nursery .
Together the new Mom and the Nurse make a wellness check, make out a birth
certificate, and go over the care of your new baby.
Now it's time for a photo opp. You get a complimentary 4x6 photo of the new Mom
rocking her new baby.
Q. Can I adopt on line?
A. Yes! You can pick out your baby from this web site. We will make an official Birth
Certificate from the information that you provide. You will also receive a new parent
button in your information packet.
